What is your favorite part about being a part of the LES community?

My favorite thing about being part of the LES community is the is the relationships that I've built with my fellow staff and students. I feel so lucky to come to work every day with students who make me smile and staff that support me in any way they can. The LES community is very close knit, and it's a true pleasure to be a small piece of that puzzle.

What is your favorite inspirational quote or story?

One of my favorite quotes is "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle. I like it so much that I have it hanging in my room! It's a reminder to take active steps towards becoming the person you want to be.

What is your favorite book?

My favorite book is The Things They Carried, by Tim O'Brien. I read the book for the first time when I was in high school, and I found it to be very moving. I've read it many times since.

What’s your favorite food?

I'm a big food lover, so this is always a hard question to ask. If I had to narrow it down, I'd say anything with seafood. I love shrimp/fish tacos, pasta, sandwiches - they're all so good!

Do you have any pets?

Yes! I have a cat - her name is Jovie.
